nice price but these are very unreliable and have a tendancy to reset themselves.

can't speak for this exact model but i have the 604t which has been very reliable, unfortunately though i've had 2 of the adapters and both broke on me.

i wouldnt touch d-link wifi kit with yours, never mind mine.
still, at least its not belkin.

when i get asked to fix wifi faults, its pretty much always cheap kit (mostly no-name stuff, but d-link and belkin crop up a fair bit too)

been using wifi in my house for over 5 years now, and never once had a problem thanks to using decent 3com/linksys kit.

I have a D-Link 604T and it constantly drops my internet connection and has done ever since Ive had it (about 2-3 years).Sometimes its the wired connection on my main PC and sometimes its my wireless connections on my laptop and my Xbox 360.Just unplug it and plug it back it again and wait for the ADSL line to reset and it works again. It is a pain though,Been meaning to get a new one for ages.

Can't vouch for the router but the USB adapter is rubbish - mine constantly loses connection while my laptop's receiver works flawlessly (and much quicker) with a strong signal.

My ISP, plusnet provided me with a free one of these. What a load of absolute ****. I'd have been really annoyed if I'd paid anything at all for it. I have to unplug it and plug it back in almost every day. Avoid live the plague. Cold cold cold.

The UI on this router is Awfull, and the QOS is a joke.
It's better if you run the Routertech/Darkwolf Firmware rather than the official firmware it has a much better UI and is somewhat more stable.

The G264T works ok if your a light user but Don't even consider buying this if you get a Decent broadband speed and use your connection for more than light browsing as the thing will most likely overheat and lock-up under the load

I'm in need of a router and reciever, having read all that i'll give it a miss.

This O2 wireless box is Ok but this one doesn't support NAS drive, my Netgear Wg311v2 is also rubbish.

I have the 624 d2g revision after seeing it recomended for Xbox Live and i have to say that i wouldn't recommend it at all.

Very tempremental, had so many problems with it on the 360 and also hates downloading on the PC. I believe it doesn't like lots of connections causing it to reset itself and sometimes require manually turning it off and starting it back up.

Lately it doesn't want to stream video properly (useful now they've introduced it quite heavily on Live) on both 360 and PC and also has problems now with radio streaming too. And it's dropping the connection on my PC fairly frequently for unknown reasons.

Updated firmware fixes nothing and has different results. Ended up downgrading it and it doesn't perform like it did before upgrading.

Not sure what i'll pick next time but i know the ISP and router (IF i have to have one) won't be this one.

All that said, as with everything there are people out there who've had no rpobs whatsoever. I'm just one of the lucky ones. Even typing this not all the smilies have loaded properly.

I'm not voting this cold as its a good price compared to what I paid originally, but after experiencing a D-Link setup a year ago, I would'nt bite...

it was fine for about three months but after that it was a nightmare...four routers later i changed the equipment and have had much less in the way of problems since...
