Sega is giving away free CD keys for The Club as a response to a mistake that meant a lot of the games shipped without one.

Just go to the site (http://www.sega.com/gamesite/theclub/fullsite/productkey.html Note: You may need to click the link again AFTER verifying your age), enter your email address and your key will be instantly sent to you.

Then all you have to do is acquire the game, possibly by lending it from a friend and you'll have your very own copy.

Note: Not sure if this breeches any of the forum rules, I don't think it counts as piracy because Sega is just giving them away but if there's a problem then moderators, feel free to close the thread.

Sorry for being thick but how will you have your own copy? Doesnt the disc have to be in the drive to play it even after you have loaded the software onto your pc?

The CD key verifies that your copy is legitimate and Unique. You put it in at install time and when you go online, it gets checked. An invalid/overused key will get rejected and not allow online play.
