I have one of these and heat does tend to build up more quickly.

Perhaps they could design one with a hard surface instead of a fabric one

Each to their own and it isn't expensive, but ...I don't really understand the point of it? It seems like something somebody invented to solve a problem which doesn't exist...? I don't need to prop up my laptop because my laptop can - if necessary - rest on my lap... the top of my lap in fact... and I don't need a storage pocket for the power cord and mouse because it is a laptop... and has a battery and a touch-mouse-pad-thing...

If anyone has problems with their laptop overheating on this, I could sell you some ice-packs wrapped and branded to look like a must-have accessory to stuff into the hole in the middle of this... a knock down price of £9.99 (my RRP is £99.99, so a hot deal)

This helps to keep the bolts in the computer warm but keep your nuts cooler.
