I've been watching this TV for a while now. With the 5% voucher (YAW744) it takes the TV to £664.05, which is the best price I've seen. There are other vouchers listed here at HUKD but they seem to have expired. Then there is quidco @ 3.5% which is £23.24 so a price of £640.31 after quidco.

It's a very nice TV for this price range.

Alternatively you could try to see if John Lewis will price match this £699.99 with the LE40M87BD* as it is also a high street deal (it's advertised as a March deal in store). This way you get JL's 5 year guarantee.

* It's the same as the posted model but has a silver strip, instead of black, at the bottom. It also looks better IMO. The M86 is exclusive to currys but aside from the colour change its identical.

wasnt impressed myself - overprocessed, poor motion handling, lousy contrast - for HD and SD content

Already got one, nice set, paid £822 for mine last August.

No motion problems, just take your time setting the correct settings on the TV and you will not regret the purchase.

Have a look over on the AVForums website, a big thread there on what the best settings are.

With settings from AV Forums the picture quality is superb.
Best value set I could find.

having just bought one i fully agree with all the praise this tv gets.

picture - great , and that was even before i used the settings on avforums which made it even better.

sound - way better than expected after all the negative comments. watched a film and found the sound comparable to my old sony crt which i always thought had great sound.

also found a sales person willing to knock a few quid off to make up for the 5% voucher code working for delivery only

all in all, happy to have a new tv at last

Picked this up at Costco for £728 with 3 years guarantee, comets matched the £640 deal but wanted me to take out 5 years warranty for £220, John lewis said they didnt have this model, so Costcos seemed best as wanted some extra cover,

Great TV whole family loves it
