Can anyone explain why this was taken down & me banned for a day??

I assume you weren't selling the original whatever it came on, which isn't allowed.

Maybe the mod who banned me should do their homework before they start handing out bans

this is a legitimate game downloaded from the PLAYSTATION STORE, All they had to do was ask before I was kick off and with no way to sign back onto the site to explain this until today, Do mods get banned for making bad calls??

Even if you are banned, you can still use the "contact us" link to email admin if you wish to dispute a ban.

He has a point with the first link - where the seller accepted the deal, then backed out.

But wouldn't it have been easier to remind him to wipe the card rather than a ban? Its not like he was really trying to sell a pirate card full of stuff - and are you 100% sure this "wipeout" isnt a completely legal homebrew game? Nope, you're banned, no questions and guilty as charged.

Seriously, if you were to go through threads and apply so called "codes of conduct", for deliberate goading etc, requesting something you would regard as dodgy, self promotion (by posting personal sites etc), you would be hard to find someone who hasn't "broken" the rules. Is this really where you want to be heading?

Having suffered a ban for trying to ensure "dodgy links" were not posted on an open forum, its left a pretty poor taste I can tell you.

All they had to do was expire the post, Ask me about the item that they thought was illegal(which isn't) and then reopened the post once they were satisfied rather than goto extreme measures and impose a ban straight away.

Would it have not been far easier to pull the offending thread until you've asked the prudent questions? Seems to work ok for new deal outlets, so hardly something you can't do.

Its a shame UK law doesnt apply here, where you are innocent until proven guilty, particularly as it now seems from Spamdogs reply, thats exactly what he was, innocent.

People here seem to forget that it's a privilege to be allowed to sell here, not a right. 'All the mod had to do was take ages researching what I was doing, then PMing me and waiting around for a response etc, JEEZ'

I think a mistake was made here, but you only got a temp ban, does it really matter all that much? Wouldn't you rather the mods have more time to chase up the real 'bad guys' and take care of the FS/T section so it's a safe place for all...that faff about for hours on every tiny detail, even if that does mean they make the odd mistake?

Once HUKD start charging fees, people have the right to start expecting things imho.
