Looks good, will order one. Any guesses as to whether this will work with Vista?

I've used the LED shop before and they are reliable - this is a really useful bit of kit at a great price - hot

I'm going to guess at no.

I have the same cable (Mind, I paid £25 at eBuyer a few years ago for it)

I did used to have a few problems with XP detecting it as a drive, so I'd imagine that a DVD player wouldn't be able to handle it.

Had one of these for about a year (from LED Shoppe). Works fine on XP and Vista with no drivers needed.

Plastic (the light blue bit) is quite flimsy and has come apart (so now is held together with tape) but otherwise works perfectly with any IDE CD/DVD drives I have used.

Great for the price anyway. just be prepared to wait 2-3 weeks for it.
