These camera's are amazing with the plus point of a view finder, i used an A550 in Israel in March and took over 100 pictures and a couple of short video's all on the same set of 2 AA batteries. The view finder is a must for me as trying to take pictures of fast moving objects or when the sun is bright looking at the LCD screen of any camera is a nighmare, a tip on Canon camera's the Canon shop sell refurbs on Ebay, mine was a refurb from Canon on Ebay and came as new with all the bits including a 16MB SD card and all for under £45.
