Aldi super 6 - 49p each

Been around for a while, but for those who don't know aldi have been doing a special offer on 6 fruit and veg for 49p. They are:
Red Seedless Grapes (500g)
Oranges (6 pack)
Iceberg Lettuce (each)
Red Apples (6 pack)
Fine Beans (250g)
Salad Potatoes (1kg)

Went in the other week to see what this was like, and found the quality to be poor. Potatoes were soft to the touch, lettuce was browning, apples were soft. Thought it might be worth a shot, but wouldn't buy any of it, would prefer to pay more for better quality. Might be an unlucky branch, but I'm not going to try all of them!

I've been really pleased with the quality of the F&V at Aldi. The pineapples and grapes I had were superb. HOT HOT HOT!

The fruit and veg there is delivered fresh daily, so I'm surprised by BristolDeal's comments...

The grapes themselves are an absolute bargain!

Been on a while though, this lot - might be a new 6 soon...

Should be changeover this week. Hoping they bring back the green grapes they had last time as i'm not too keen on the red ones. Good quality in our local too.

Oh and the peppers were excellent too, better than the big supermarkets
