Not as good a deal as the Sony 805/815 offer but worthy of a look if your in the market for a device of this capacity or size at this pricepoint (The 3 minute charge = 3 hours playback is a big plus as far as I'm concerned though the use of SonicStage is painful at times).

this is a good price. it seems to be a better model than the £17.99 one at play.com as it has the 3 minute quick charge and by the looks of it shows album art aswell

This does look like a better model than the Play £17.99 version due to the quick charge, greater battery life, color cover album art and probably better headphones etc etc but I opted in getting the Play version only because it was cheaper and I didnt have to use Sonic Stage. Still seems a great unit though
Anyway if 2 gigs isnt enough Play do the 4 gig version Sony NW-E016 4GB Walkman MP3 Player (Black) for £39.99 (pre order)

ONLINE, ? What do you mean missed out on the 2gb ? thought they were still available ? hoping to get mine del today.. And have to agree , prefer the , drag + drop one anytime.. Take it you mean the sony 105 (white) 2gb.. from play, (online) ? they,re still on there..

Got one of the Sony 2GB White from Play.
Pros: Drag and Drop, good price, name brand
Cons: has to build database every time you turn it on, which gets quite irritating, slow transfer time

MrB123.. Got mine today, and ordered another one tonight, £17.99 is a top price for this mp3... You can charge it up without the pc.. just get a usb home charger, i use my samsung k3 charger to charge all my mp3 players.. much better than the pc. Also loaded up the sony , and sounds really good, compared to the creative stone plus, i got last week.. still both ok through. this sony is about £40 in argos ?? Dont know how play.com, do it... GET um while you can....... as the dvd.co.uk stone one as gone back up now..... SONY, PRO,S -.... good sound , nice compact smart unit, no sony software., loads up easy, hopefully good batt life? , .. good price, ..plenty of info on small 3 line screen, .. a few good options you can pick from, ..sound, etc. CON,S -... NO CASE , no clip to attach it to your clothes, .. you cant get another usb item in the pc, when using it, i.e cant put a wireless mouse in, unless you get a twin usb addaptor, (wide fit), etc... But upto now, this is a good player... hot indeed..
