XFX Nvidia Geforce 8800GS. Not a bad card for the price. A little slower than the 8800GT, but around half the price.

I doubt it, the memory is slower, and 2x384 isn't significantly bigger enough to make up the difference really.

It would! the 8800gt is about 20 % or so faster, while sli can be up to 50% faster, so two of these would be faster than the 8800 gt

Looking at the raw specs and not doing too much resarch, it appears there's a bigger jump than 20% between the GS and GT, and "up to" 50% really could mean anything.

Then again, it depends which GT it is being compared to.

this is ok but for only £35 delivered you can get a PCI e16 - Inno3D Geforce 8500GT 800MHz 512MB Graphics Card

no that's the overclocked version....product code is slightly different at the end.
very tempted by this as this is at the top end of my budget for a graphics card to replace my xfx 6800....
