I'm not generally impressed with Screwfix these days, all those branches are taking their toll on the prices. I have a 2006 catalogue, comparing with their lastest prices, the majority of 'bread n' butter' components have shot up in price, some by nearly 100%!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rock on Tool Station!

I'm a big screwfix fan and always get my bits from them. Recently they have been doing some blindin deals, picked up a tile cutter for 15 notes! No one could match their screw prices but unfortunately even B&Q are now quite competitive last time i checked. Shame really.

Not 100% correct. They are very separate entities both companies are owned by the Kingfsher group, they trade their own.

I remember when screwfix just did cheap mild steel screws from Hong Kong from a garage.
Things have changed, but I agree that the competitive edge is long gone - excepting the occasional deals like this one.
I also have converted to Toolstation (who have just sold out 30 % to Travis Perkins).
My worry is now that Toolstation have become established and the owners made multimillionaires (the son of the original Screwfix owner) they too will lose the edge........

Still to the point - this is a very good deal!
