It's not worth the hassle to win a few pence on a sure winner.

Most bookies won't give you the free stake back, only the winnings that you make on it.

Put £25 on a 1/25 shot and you'll get £1 back, not £26.

So with betfair's offer, you're better off putting it on an even money shot, and doubling your money if it wins, or just getting your money back if it doesn't.

It will be secure, as it's betfair, not some shoddy racket.

It will be showing as not secure because the form will be in its own frame.

Try using firefox, right-clicking where you're meant to type the card details, and click "This Frame>Show Only This Frame" You will then see that it is, infact a https site, and therefore secure.

This is a good deal. I used it to bet on the national. The free £25 is available to withdraw within 24 hours and Quidco has tracked and put £30 into my Quidco account. So, in a nutshell, bet £25, get £55 back, even if you don't 'win' a penny !

If it comes in. Even 1/25 short odds bets can lose ... about 1 in every 25 times in fact.

Me too. I put £25 on 5 horses in the National (5 x £5), got a 1st 3rd and 4th but as I couldn't work out how to do a 'Place' only got paid on the winner. drew out my £52 winnings plus £25 free bet next day and Quidco tracked at £30. £82 profit Nice tickle!

There is a Betfair free voucher that refunds you up to £25 on your first bet, win or lose. Just enter the code 5F0P1NJRY (third digit is zero not letter "o") when you open your account. There is no expiry on this voucher.
