Business model is based on 40% success rate but if you play by the rules, 100% success rate for you

Received the last cheq today from e2save.. never had any issues with CPW.

e2save are pretty bad in terms of cashback. They rarely action the cashback claims. I know a lot of my friends lost a fortune with them. I dealt with them for 2 years until 2006, when they were kindly issuing the cashbacks. But unfortunately not anymore. Very strange to learn that they are part of prestigeous CPW group yet very bad at cashbacks..........

Sorry, I disagree.. Have had about 4 contracts from e2save and no probs whatsoever. Received the final cheq for Nokia 6300 today (12 months free on 12m contract) and within 3 weeks of submitting the claim. Play by the rules and you should be fine...

Up until a few weeks ago I would have agreed with you edi, BUT e2save have declined my claims and won't provide a reason why. They were in time and sent special delivery and arrived and the correct bill etc. I've done about 10-20 cashback contracts before.

It's lucky I've got a contact in Charles' office as they've now promised to pay the whole claim.

I think these deals are fine as long as you send the claims correctly and are prepared to chase them up and go to court if neccessary if things go wrong. But them if you're only saving a few hundred quid it may be more hassle going to court than it's worth.

It is an ongoing issue with E2Save. Have to disagree with Edi on this one. Have been with E2Save before and not had any significant problems. This time however, they have provided conflicting T&Cs about which bill to send in and I ended up copying them all the paperwork and asking them which of them was correct. They replied last week and admitted they had provided conflicting info and did actually clarify the situation (good news).

However, part of my deal was to get automatic cashback before 2 months. This did not happen so I rang up E2Save. They apologised and said I would get my cheque within 28 days. I rang again today (as it did not come within the 28 days) and they apologised again and said I would get it within 14 days.

You may think this was an isolated case, but my sister didn't get her automatic cash back either on the same deal. However, she did ring and did get her cheque.

There should be no need to have to chase automatic cash backs.... and I do feel that E2Save are now deliberately not paying cashbacks in the hope that people will not be bothered to chase them up (you can't email them via their website like you used to be able to do and their phone numbers are 0871 etc. and expect to be waiting about 30 minutes).

Having said that - if you are willing to fight for your money and stick to the rules then these deals are very good. You may be lucky like Edi.

Claimed 2 e2save cashbacks for my dad , all went ok.

I've ordered the ps3 deal with 60 quid cashback with 400 mins 500 texts cos the last one went through successfully. Only gripe is that they wanted to charge me £8 for some credit check, thretened to cancel the order so they waved it.

Thanks Edi - but if I click on that link it now costs £30... Guess it expired...

I guess E2save doesn't have a very good reputation...

I have to agree with the comments as i'm also on a Nokia 6300 deal from last June and I had to resend all my details. proof of receipt and make a number of calls after they wrongly declined me a cash back and my latest claim hasn't been acknowledged by text like the earlier ones so i'll be chasing that up as it has tracked with Royal Mail within the required period.
