These were £29.99 in maplin the month before last
 Last month they increased the price to £69.99 It appears maplin could be playing the Woolworths trick of artificially inflating prices so that they can claim a huge reduction at a later date By the way, as the 600W inverter does not come with a cigar plug (like the 300w and 150w versions do) I'm not sure how exactly you use this "on the move". It needs to be connected directly to the battery via crocodile clips. Not many cars have access to the battery from inside the vehicle - the only one that springs to my mind is an old mini traveller where the battery is located under the rear seat.
