Debenhams missing order???

My GF ordered some shoes from there and now no sign so she looks on there and no recollection of her order no money has been taken or anything.

Has this happened to any one else?

That kind of thing happened to me with empire, placed an order had a confirmation e-mail, waited nearly 2 weeks and nothing! Rang them and because i didn't get accepted for credit they didn't "do" my order, apparently i was to recieve a letter!! Takes the mick!!

Debenhams have cancelled lots with me in the past especially in their sales. They take the order & payment & then I usually get an email or letter throught he post to say sorry it is out of stock !

happened to me a couple of times with Debenhams, both sale items. Have given up ordering from them now. First time I didn't receive any info although the 2nd I received something in the post to say my account had been refunded. No explanation as to why they couldn't deliver - rubbish service!

Oh i remeber as well i took advantage of a deal on here it was pillows, place an order , even paid for it and money came out of my bank and then couple weeks later a letter saying out of stock!

Same happened to me with the pillows & duvets They kept hold of my money for nearly a month before refunding

This thing makes my blood boil. Its happened to me so many times now with different companies when I place an internet order, normally on a reduced price item. House of Fraser is still showing as temporary out of stock on a couple of items that Ive been waiting for since Christmas and when I rany them they said they couldn't tell me what stores may have stock but if I called any of the big stores they can look at stock levels all over the country and tell me who to contact. I did this and started ringing around and quickly realised that even though they computer told them they had stock that actually they hadn't. What a waste of my time any money, and they still haven't update the system. I thought computers could up date immediately.

Ive had loads of other simular things happen, isn't it time some law was passed to stop this con attidude of these companies......Ive missed out on other offers when Ive waited in vain for a delivery not to mention the time off work...

I'll go and take a pill and calm down now....
