18 free range eggs for £2 @ Asda!

STARTS: 23/04/2008   

Bought 18 eggs for £2 at my local Asda, was going to buy 6 eggs for £1.39 before seeing this offer

This is supposedly a St Georges day special - not sure what eggs have got to do with St George.

no idea if online though

better get reading some recipe books for eggs their eggperation date is 11th May

edit: For those whole don't really care about free range, morrisons are doing 18 (caged hens) eggs for £1.89

possibly some sort of egg war between the supermarkets?

mine too ,well from my lovley hens , they are always fresh and warm , and taste so good

did you know that supermarkets eggs are at least 10 days old b4 they go on the shelf , then they stay on there until there sbd , yuck !!!!

and then they end up in the fridge for weeks until eaten.. And they still taste nice..

The only difference I've seen in old/new egg is how easy it is to peal the shell after they have been boiled.
