REGZA AV series models feature our high performance picture processing technology Active Vision LCD. This technology is constantly evolving to take advantage of technical advancements designed to enhance the colour, detail, movement and contrast of the images you watch.

Take a good look at the AV series and the REGZA family likeness is unmistakable, with the narrow frame surround given a contemporary gloss black finish. The stylish looks hide a wealth of audio technology designed to deliver a powerful audio performance from the integrated slimline speaker system

this is by far the cheapest around..they have sold 60 in a few days and have just over 120 left in stock

Ordered this today. Had my eye on these new range Toshiba's for a little while.

Thanks for the heads up!

So it can do 1080i? Sorry if I'm being dumb!
Yep, it can do up to 1080i.

One of the reviews on Ebuyer says they printed the spec of a better TV.
It says there is fixed level audio out as well as optical out. But the connector image doesn't show them. Do they exist??
There's no sign of a VGA socket either, but it says PC input - odd.

How much did you pay for your from Play and what's the difference between this and yours?

btw.... rep added for you both for your help. Thanks very much.
centaurandrew:
Where did you read that the C series was better? Its 4000:1 dynamic contrast ration against 20,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio and the model is over a year old wheras the AV is a relatively new model . I was considering one myself but decided against it due to the low contrast ratio. Pound for pound the AV is better VFM. Although the C is a verhy highly rated model by anyone who's tested one.

You're a trooper...
I paid £379.99 from play minus some quidco which I think is around £16.

Review is here for C series http://www.dvdtimes.co.uk/content.php?contentid=64887

I think it is irrelavant whether the set is a year old or not, if it is a good TV, it is a good TV.

However, the digital tuner on my 32C3031D has just gone after 3 weeks so am having to get a replacement set. Not sure whether to go for the same set, or something else. The TV is fantastic though, just a shame the freeview tuner has died.

TV arrived today. Bit disappointed to be honest.

- no VGA input (Ebuyer have got that wrong)
- no swivel pedestal stand (Ebuyer have also got that wrong)
- TV stand is grey which jars with the colour of the TV
- picture quality for SD sources is poor
- DVDs look blocky and exhibiting colour banding (particularly "Blue Planet")
- noticeable motion blur
