New Credit Card - advice needed.

Hi All,

I have just come back from a rather costly holiday, where I spent a bit too much while under the influence of beer.

Consequently I am now looking for a new credit card that I can transfer the balance to so that I can put off paying my current one for a month or two.

Please can someone advise the best one to get (I currently have a barclaycard)?

I have considered either the Virgin card - as can then get discount at zavvi (and have been eyeing up a new PS3) or maybe one the cash back cards (eg Amex platinum)

What are people's thought's?

Im sure i saw posters for virgin card yesterday saying they were doin the best deal for balance tranfers

yeah, virgin credit card, 0% for 15 months with 3% (or 2.8%) fee

For purchases Amex Plat is great. Especially if you have any large purchases planned. The customer service has always been excellent in my experience.

abbey - 13months interest free (2.5 or 3% fee)
natwest - 12 months interest free (3% fee)

on balance transfers obviously
