Have a look here to see which maps you get with the Europe DVD. If this satnav comes with version 9 of the maps then you can upgrade free to version 2008 on the Garmin website to get the Europe maps.

I have a nuvi 200, and requested the latest map on the garmin site (im a courier) but they sent a europe map, and I know from other models, everytime you do a search you have to tell it UK each time (waste of time for me, as i will never use the other countries) has anyone overcome this, or updated the map for uk only?

Hi

I'm confused. Spoke to somebody at Garmin and he stated it would cost £140 to update the Nuvi 300 to have European mapping on it yet somebody has said that Garmin would update the 300 for free.

Help please as I have ordered one but need european mapping.
