Me has a feeling at 3-1 down and thinking the game had gone he would look after torres for the euros for spain, apparently he has a slight hamstring strain.

Think you're exaggerating there. Most important in years?

Surely last years final was more important?!

Not such a strange decision after all was it!! Torres was injured. Perhaps you'd prefer Rafa to keep an injured player on the pitch who was not playing well and leave a player on the bench who regularly scores when brought on a sub because his pace and strength means that he thrives against tired opponents...

Good decision at the time...excellent decision when you know the facts.

Just a shame Riise's own goal and an offside goal made it much more difficult.

i am at anfield ( refereeing on the hallowed turf ) on may 9th so i will ask him "what the hell was he doing"
the only real reason could be injury!

He bought him off at 2-1 down (as soon as Lampards penalty went in).

I must say he didn't seem injured but then again we don't see it all, surely it couldn't have been tactical?

He gave up.
If Torres was injured-fair enough taking him off but he should have put Babel AND Crouch on to be ready for pens.
