IP banned?

Might just be a problem with my internet browser or something... but i cant get on the website at all. I tryed using a proxy and it works fine...

any ideas?

any help at all is welcome

yeah always wondered how to do proxy, any suggestions for mac OS10.4 guys ? i dont want my IP address recorded by dodgy websites.

Sure does sound like your IP has been blocked - perhaps you're on a dynamic IP and it was previously banned. On this site?

Just go to a proxy website- it's normally slower though. http://www.freedomnetwork.info will send you new proxy sites all the time.

Ive never been banned at all.... my accounts not banned which is what they would do.

never had any problems at all with my internet on any site. im on Virgin media XL

and kippy

you can do it the lazy way and use..

www.hidemyass.com (dont know if it will work on a mac)

Let's see if there's a possibilty you're using a banned recycled IP. Then I would start the spyware checking - could just be your computer...

Im still having problems. Its really odd i dont have any problems with any other site but this one. Im doing scans on my comp to see if i have any bad stuff on it. Any ideas?

EDIT: ive just ran Spybot and adaware on my comp and both found nothing.

An IP ban would be at the server here, nothing to do with your PC. what's probably happened is that a member here has been banned previously and you've been given that person's IP address.

ive had the same ip since last year... checked lol.

i couldnt get onto the site like i normly would. i could get on using a proxy tho...

seems odd.

Anyway... its working now.
