It depends. If you’re the curator of the Getty image bank then you should probably look elsewhere. On the other hand if you have a 0.3MP camera on your mobile that you use infrequently then it should just be up to the job.

No, you're wrong 1TB= 1024GB, so you won't actually get 1TB you will get 0.90949TB, as manufactures say 1TB equals 10^12, but its really 2^40 bytes

Its not formatting, its the way the manufactures quote their space in powers of 10, while computers work in binary so in powers of 2. Formatting uses barely any space!
