Hotukdeals Censorship

I have tried to post a deal on hotukdeals which I feel is a very good deal and would be of interest to hotukdeal members. However because of the hotukdeals self promotion policy they have removed my post. I have tried to contact somebody in hotukdeals several times and get no reply!

It seems that hotukdeals are missing the main point to have the best deals it would be useful if companies could post on hotukdeals to allow them to compete with any offers posted by hotukdeal members. A method to provide feedback on companies would also be useful as sometimes the cheapest deal does not mean the best deal.

This would mean that hotukdeals censorship would not get in the way of a company wanting to provide a better deal in order to get the business.

I appreciate you can not make it a free for all the last thing you want is somebody to get ripped off, however genuine established companies would benefit and so would hotukdeal members.

There a few corners of the globe that HUKD'ers are not aware of, if your companies product/service are that good, we will find them.

If you don't like it then you should take your business elsewhere.

And it's my understanding that companies ARE allowed to come on and answer questions, just so long as they stay on topic and relevant, ie, don't try to promote extra products etc.

That's called a newspaper.

I have no hesitation in saying allowing companies to post their offers on HUKD would result in a bunch of spam and **** deals.

If you think you have a good deal then use the Contact Us form to let us know. Obviously if it is good then we will post it asap.

I thought spam was unwanted e-mail! At the end of the day what I am trying to say is if a company is genuine and they submit a deal, if it is good it will be hot and if it is **** it will be cold, that is how the hotukdeals website works right?

I'm sure there has been loads of posts by hotukdeal members that were thought to be a hot deal only to be told different and voted cold, this normally sparks a bit of a debate with members and the end result one of the members points out a better deal the one originally posted.

It seems to me there is a bit of a gap in the market for a free website that takes a genuine hot deal from any source, and as I originally said this might get companies to compete to post the best deal so everyone wins. Hotukdeals could look into somesort of registration process and weed out the dudds and perhaps have a clear marker to show a deal was posted by the company supplying the goods. If a company posted serveral cold deals they could be prohibited from posting anymore deals either forever or for a certain time period.

so what happens when each and every company posts five deals a day, dont think there would actually be room for anything else, companies are interested in selling, at any cost
