I have been looking at this for while?
useless with technology, do you think it'll make a good all round family everyday/holiday camera?
(sorry to gate crash your thread)?

This would make a great everyday camera for the family , in auto mode it is a straightforward shoot camera , in all the other functions it is easily adjustable when you learn a bit more for more personal settings . Fast start up , loads of battery life , looks good , very lightweight to hold . The only downside is that it is a little bulky compared to slimmer models , certainly won't fit in a handbag too easily .

For the sake of a £5 I'd go with Amazon for 2 reasons :

1. Customer services are 2nd to none , Play can be troublesome with returns .

2. Amazon pricematch , if it goes down within a month you can ask for the reduction to be refunded .

For this reason this is HOT not COLD .

Not really , I was thinking more of handheld , over the shoulder it would be fine I assume .

What sizes are they nowadays anyway ?
