Haven't voted on this one, but it'd probably take me longer driving from Somerset to Luton to get to the airport 2 hours before the departure gates open, and pay a fortune on parking just to then wait for the delays in departures, finally to get to somewhere that I'd have to drive from to get to see the "real" Scotland!

Sorry, don't mean that to sound too bad, but for 90% of the country its probably overkill and for the 10% who live in the Luton area, great.

BTW Edinburg & Glasgie are lovely places to go! Culture, arts & BEER!!!!!

Glasgow IS real Scotland. Our city is 800 yrs old and NOBODY except patronising non Scots say "Glasgie". If you want to say it properly in slang, its "Glesga". We also have mountains and lochs half an hour drive from the airport. But then, what would I know... I only live here, you seem to be the expert ...

Apols if I offended because of my spelling/colloquialisms! I was (rightly I think) trying to tell everyone how good both of these places are to visit, the emphasis on beer was just a personal preference!!!

I think it was a good find, as I said, its probably not worth it for someone living too far from Luton!
