Save money on Pictures at theme parks...

Just a funny one...

When you come off a ride at a theme park you can see the TV screens showing you your petrified face on a ride. You have to pay a minimum of £5 however so it's a bit of a rip off. But I was out yesterday at Alton Towers and every time I came off a ride I took a photo of the screen using my camera, came home, cropped it and played with the colours and now have some great ride photos! For free!

I am sure that it will say in their T&C that by entering the park you are agreeing to have your pictures taken on rides ect.

Not trying to cause offense, it's just worked really well for me! I don't have a problem with them taking photos of me, but if they're not letting ME take photos of me then I would have a problem!

It came out really well although I did have to crop the small number out of the corner which you needed to order them. The photos are on my wifes computer, but I can try and post them on Tuesday when I am at it next.. They look great though, you really wouldn't know much difference.

I was a bit cheeky, but I think £5 for a poorly printed photo is a bit cheeky as well. The staff didn't care at all, one guy wanted to see the camera after to see how well it came out!

nice one! I took a pic with my camera phone a few years ago (before megapixels) and it looked ****!

Great idea,well done.Rep added.

Done something similar when we came back from disney,you get a card from the park photographers,then get your photo taken at various locations around the parks,when you get home you can view all the photos online and order which ones you want,can't remember how much they were,but not cheap.But if you press something like shift&enter or something similar you can save the photos to your computer,don't think it's 100% legit but saved ourselves a fortune.
