Anyone been to Old MacDonalds Farm in Essex?

POSTED BY: Mrs.Z 2 months, 1 day ago

Considering taking the kids there tomorrow but is it a bit pricey considering that there is 6 of us going.

Just wondered if anyone has been there, is it good?

And does anyone know of any offers or discounts we can get, or website deals?

Thanks peeps, won't forget to rep!

I have seen the website, thanks - am hoping for some 'real people' opinons

We have been to Mole Hall near Stansted a few times so wanted to try here for a change - just didn't really want to be spending so much!

Thank you too Kippy for your extremely useful insight - I wonder how come your post count is about triple mine?

we have been to the fair bit - quite nice - the farm is a bit disappointing - yes it is quite expensive

I have some 2-1 vouchers for colchester zoo I think somewhere if that is better?

How old are the kids as some places let very small ones in for nothing!

Have also been to Barleylands Farm in Billericay (not that much further) - very nice if you have wee ones.

Trampolines, huge sand pit, small toy tractors to play on and the farm (and train - extra) but no fair. And huge arts and craft centre/shops for the adults.

My 2 year old loves it.

Much cheaper:
Entrance is £5.00 per person, adult, child (from age 2) no concessions.
Family Ticket £16 from 1st March 08.
