Hmm, tempting, as I'm considering going to Glade this summer, and this is cheap enough you don't have to worry about some ******* nicking it. Voted hot!

Don't waste your money on this.
It is fine in dry weather, but not really a 4 man tent, it is a comfortable 2 man.
There is little head room, but it got really damp inside the tent (showers and condensation).
When tightening the ropes, the poles couldn't cope with the pressure and were starting to buckle and twist.
I Bought it in the same deal last year, used it once and then went to a Millets Tent event, where they put them all up outdoors, so you can see what they are really like......I got a quality tent at a great price because there show season was coming to the end.
You would be better putting the money to something a bit better, say Eurohike or Vango (i know there's more)
This one is now a childs play tent....enough said!

Here's the link to Millets Tent events....Its still 2007 showing, but ring your local store (as i did) they should have more info, last years events severly affected by Floods......are you sure you want to camp!!!! LOL

Yeah, how the hell would you get 4 men in that thing? It would be like sleeping cheek by jowel in a coffin.

Cool - good deal for a roomy 2 man. We paid the same for a 3 man tent last year which sleeps the 2 of us comfortably and has a porch for our shoes etc.

I wouldn't get this - there are tons of great tent deals about. We were looking at some recently until our plans changed. It's worth looking around first because I don't think is a very good one.

No HH rating listed.... Which, with tents, always means that its so low it will probably leak in anything more than a light shower.

All decent quality tents lists the HH (Hydrostatic Head) Rating.
Usually anything 2,000 or above is OK.

Cheap tents rarely list it, because it always low..... Basically they are rubbish tents that are not worth buying... As this one is i can assure you.

This tent looks fine to me for a festival......if you really want to waterproof get some waterproofing spray, i did that last year for T in the park and my cheap tent was fine, even in the heavy rain........waterproofing spray costs about £5.

Waterproof spray wont do anything to stop poles snapping and the fabric tearing at the seams, which also happens with these cheap rubbish tents.
And for a poor quality tent, its not even that cheap... Look about and you can get a reasonable spec tent and a well known make for this price.

If you are going to buy a cheap tent for a festival, then at least get a well known make with decent spec.
This is a Gelert, a company that does good quality camping gear, it has a 2000 HH rating, and being Gelert it will be robust, well constructed, and and put up with any weather you can throw at it... All for £25.

I know nothing about tents, other then for some inexplicable reason it's what some people choose to spend the night in, but that does look like a good deal.
