Thanks for that kyalion, Rep Added

This does have a printed HPI as well.

As you can see from the recent searches, i bought this the other week, and unfortunately i didn't realise the insurance would be so expensive. £1200 for me. I'm a 21 year old male. I didn't check this before i put the deposit down, stupidly, and couldn't get it back, so had to continue with purchase.

I ended up getting a Mazda 6 instead, insurance was £500, a lot better.

They seem to be a lot cheaper, around the £2000 mark for the same year with less mileage on autotrader, you might have to lower your price to get a sale. How much did you pay?

Hi Peodude, maybe try autotrader instead?

Admitting to trying to make over £1000 profit out of HUKD'ers probably isn't the best selling technique.

The value it quotes is for a 1999 version sold through a dealer, and the text under the quoted evaluation says :
All valuations given are based on a single transaction with a bona fide motor dealer involving the sale of the consumer's car in part exchange for the purchase of a different car from the same dealer.
Values are not cash values, replacement prices, private sales values or insurance settlements and therefore must not be used for any other valuation purposes whatsoever.

Also does the car have FULL MERC Dealer history? Otherwise I would not consider it worth the top end of the quote!!

Thanks.

Roy

Also now that the car has more owners in the history I would'nt expect the price you paid to appriciate as it will be harder to sell off in the future!!

Based on what has been said already and that we know you paid £3,400 for it, I wouldn't have thought anyone here is going to pay more than that for it now. Price it at a slight loss and you might stand a small chance. Btw, has anyone actually bought/sold a car through HUKD yet..?

I am pretty sure it is a Mercedes service history yes, done at Mercedes garages. I will have to check later

I have the Full V5, with only the Motor Trade section missing, with all previous owners details on, so i will not be an intermittent owner, as it is still considered in the garage. I will just fill in the new owners details before sending it off
