just been on to CPW to cancel the 12 month deal we set up with onestopphoneshop on the 12 months free line rental deal.

Told them want to leave and going to do another deal, after offering a couple of deals which i turned down he offered the following, which is a sim only deal, keep old number and phone

275 anytime any network mins
250 text

On O2 all for just £5.00 per month on 18 month contract

no claims to submit, no cashback just get billed £5.00 per month

Hmm, I got very similar, but was same deal on 24 month contract. I was wary because the contract was 24 months, but it meant not paying 25 a month for 2 months that they'd already given me for the current contract (a previous free 12 months)! So I guess I can't complain, but this is obviously a deal others can negotiate for - and do it early if you want to avoid the last couple of months' payments on a more expensive contract.

i didnt ask about 12months, to be honest if i was offered a 12 or a 18 i would had done the 18 month everyday for this price, don't think prices will drop over the next couple of years and knowing ive got it fixed for 18 months is a bonus

Just got my daughter a Virgin Sim after unlocking her phone from Tesco network (Tesco unlock phones free of charge). It is £10 per month and that gives her 300 any network call time and 300 texts. This can be done on a PAYG basis or as a direct debit each month, no tie in whatsoever........... however to get the £10 rate you have to have either Virgin cable or phone or broadband.

CPW will always offer good deals when you ask for a PAC. My wife got a SIM only 12-month contract (400 mins, 500 sms) for about £7 pm.
