Temporary Car Insurance

POSTED BY: scoopy2scoops 1 week, 2 days ago

I'm after some fully comprehensive car insurance on a car for just a couple of days. I know I can get this from my current insurer, but there charging £30+. Are there any specialist companies out there who offer a cheaper daily rate?

£15 a day is reasonable. I am not aware of any company who do short period rates of the duration you require.

our insurance broker insured our 3rd car for £15 a week recently whilst we were trying to sell it. do you use a broker?

I rang my car insurance company as I was buying a new vehicle and needed the other one insuring until I had sold it, they provided me with cover for a month (up to a max of 3 months) for £55 per month - which to be fair is higher than my £34 per month premium

why not hire a car for a couple of days, wouldn't work out much different and you don't have to worry about the running costs.
