I wonder if I could clean my entire flat with this? - I don't have a vacuum cleaner and I happen to have a £2.50 voucher burning a hole in my pocket.

I've got one of these, we use it for cleaning up after the kids and for small patches of dust/dirt.

Battery life isn't great and it needs to be emptied very often so I'd not want to try and clean an entire flat with it (or even a single room to be honest) but for a small hand held to clean up the occasional spill then it is a godsend as the henry lives upstairs and this works really well for what it is.

(Hot by the way).

Always wasting energy as yet another appliance on standby...

Your useless diatribe was a waste of energy. You do realise just by having your computer on you are also wasting energy?

I have one of these and yes it is always on stand-by. I could get my Henry Hoover out and use twice the energy as this little thing on standby, but it is very convenient to pick up and it also gives a nice blue glow, when on standby.

I got mine from costco for around £25 and it is great for wooden floors or just a bit of spot cleaning. It also has a small filter. The motor is quite noisy and more powerful than the usual car vacuum cleaners. I have used it to do the cars several times.

Erm, just don't leave it turned on at the wall? Only plug it in when it needs to be charged?

And it should do a car ok depending on how bad you have let your car get, If it is caked with lots of mud and other crud like leaves etc. it will probably struggle but you might be able to do it in 2 goes.
