This hot weather is playing all sorts of tricks on my mind. I read the title as 'rechargeable dish rack'.

What a good idea, a rechargeable dish rack perhaps with fans built in to aid drying?

I'll second that - very mediocre deal.

hmmmmm - my problem is the "silver effect" business...i had one of these and they tend to go rusty after a while

But i guess if you DO want one and havent got a poundshop or you find it easier to go straight to argos rather than visiting the poundshop or hardware store to find they DONT stock them (extra petrol usage maybe....?) then itd be a pretty good deal!

Agree, I had a bath one and that only lasted about 4 weeks before it started to rust. Also leaves lovely rust stains on your bath/sink. Wouldn't recommend - even at this price.

This looks identical to the one Ive had for about eight years. It holds LOADS of dishes and is bigger than average. I have a large old metal draining board, but it might well be too big for modern small draining boards, so check the dimensions of your draining board to be sure. This Argos drainer is 30 x 48cm, same as mine.

I agree that they do tend to get a bit rusty...but for this price its still a good deal. Any one know where you can get the wooden ones? Argos used to sell them but not anymore?

I used to have one of these. Well more like my landlord decided a nice shiny cool looking dish rack was worth more than one that ACTUALLY worked. Absolute piece of rubbish. You'd think that they'd actually try to stand a plate up in one of these things before they started mass producing them, but it seemed they didn't. In this case, they actually managed to polish a turd, but at the end of the day, its still a turd, silver or not.
