Just when you thought that this couldn't get any cheaper!!!

DealExtreme are a retailer based in Hong Kong. They accept Paypal, and the items you order typically take 10 days to arrive.

If your order is below £18, then you are not liable for import duty etc.
DealExtreme have always marked their goods as a "Gift" when I use them.

If in doubt, order sepaprately as the shipping is free, but that doesn't mean that they will not combine your order to take it over the threshold.

I am sure everyone knows what this cartridge can do, but for those that don't know, here's a brief synopsis.

This is a cartridge that fits into the Nintendo DS and DS Lite like a normal game cartridge.
It contains a space for a Micro SD card to be inserted into it.
You have to put Micro firmware onto the Micro SD card and then put your "Homebrew" games, onto it and play them onto the DS.

There is a rumour that you can get illegally downloaded games free from the internet, but this is something that I wouldn't advocate as it's baaaaaaadddddd.

You can also put an application called "Moonshell" on the cartridge that allows you to play Music, Photo's, Video's and E books on your DS.

These cartridges do not come with a Micro SD card.

If you have a Micro SD card then this is the link for the DSTT cartridge on it's own:

DSTT cartridge ~£10.60


If you need a Micro SD card, I would get it with a Kingston Micro SD card (Which is widely regarded as the best). You can get it with a 1gb card:

DSTT cartridge with 1gb Micro SD card ~£14.30

but I would get it with a 2gb card:

DSTT cartridge with 2gb Micro SD card ~£16.25

Once you have the DSTT card and Micro SD card, you will need to download the Micro Firmware and put it on the Micro SD card. This next link is from GBAtemp.NET

You will need to have an application on your computer that allows you to "Unzip" "Zip" files.

Great price. Cant believe how cheap these are getting. Does this automatically save the game for you and is there much difference between this and the more expensive ones? Been wanting to get one for ages but never sure which one to get. Cheers in advance.

I remember paying £120 for the same sort of thing for an old Gameboy Advance, and getting stung for another £20 import duty. Maybe these devices are used in the Governments Inflation calculationg methods !

This little gadget is amazing. I was a little sceptical when I purchased it that it will be difficult to use, load games, save games etc...but it was so easy it was amazing. It saves the game for you on the card as you go along.
The only negative I have noticed is that since I have the card my battery seems to run down VERY quickly and I dont play it considerably more than I used to.
Follow Saints instructions at the top though to ensure that you load the menus onto the card etc as this may be a little tricky to the lay person.

If I ordered 3 with 3 2Gbyte micro cards it would come to about £46. Would I have to pay any import duty or anything?

awesome piece of kit. Mine took about 10 days to arrive, but it was worth it. The latest firmware is on the site, and you just d/l it and unzip it to your micro SD card, and off you go. Its not only good for 'evaluating' new games, i found old classics that just arent around anymore, which i am 'evaluating' at the moment.
