Note the 2007 maps - these would have been released from 2006 data

I doubt you will find more recent maps than 2007. It takes a long time to get from
mapping to Sat Nav gadget .
From my limited experience I prefer Navigon maps.
I have TeleAtlas built in to my car (7-8 yrs old) but prefer small Fujitsu/seimens Navigon (1 yr old).
Maybe just newer.
Just noticed the processor ummmmm. . On the other hand - maps for Europe and low price ummmmm.

I'll look up for some instructions for people on my many favourites pages for people wanting to unlock it. I've also got i link to get and install a widescreen version of navigon! I wouldn't recommend tomtom, that version is so old, even with 6.75 maps. Add mio onto this as well with 3d maps.

The P & P of £8.30 should be included in the price. For those who have not used Pixmania - they are based in France so printed instructions may be in French, any power leads etc may beFrench (sometimes they include a uk adaptor plug, sometimes they don't) and if there is something wrong with it then it has to be sent back to France.

I think you would be better getting a cheap one from Ebuyer etc Although I dislike Pixmania, I'm not voting either way on this one.....

Would be a great deal if you trust Pixmania further than you could throw a lorry full of elephants, unfortunately you can't so voted cold.

Aren't Pixmania now owned by the Dixons Group? Don't know if that has or does make a difference.

For anyone not sure about this, I can highly recommend the Garmin nuvi 250 Europe. Easily updatable from a world leader in GPS. Plus maps for all of europe, not just west europe (handy for me!). Bit dearer yes at 95 pounds from amazon.co.uk, but a trusted name, delivery is free and good c.s..
That said, never had a problem with pixmania, but i seem to be in a minority.
