ooops,nintendo ds and r4

hey guys/gals

i sent my nintendo ds back to nintendo today to hopefully get fixed as my daughter managed to drop it........when i spoke to them on the phone lastweek the lady said all i need to send them is just the ds, do not need powerpack,stylus,etc so today i walked up to the post office and sent it ,only when i got home i realised i have left the r4 thingy in the back ov it,!!!!!!!do you think this will cause problems with nintendo,is it illegal??im so stressed and worrying over this now so any advice or comments would be really appreciated,thanks paula

technically its not illegal cause they dont know you havent got the original games

the biggest worry will be weather it is actualy returned with the ds cause they tell you not to send anything else simply cause they wont be responsible for them if they arent returned with it

put it this way-its too late to worry unless you can get it back from the post office if it is still there? explaine to them and if you have the proof of postage they may take pity on you?
i know they are not supposed to but they have given me back before..

You're not getting the R4 back quite probably. Nintendo won't be too thrilled when they see it.

Lets face it people. The only use most people have for these carts are for the games. I'd say around 10 people on this forum use DS homebrew. So the OP could stand to be in trouble from Ninty.

Not got 1 of these R4 cards I hear bits and pieces about on here,I think if they that bothered they will drop you in a note when you get it back to remind you that you shouldn't be d/l games etc etc for it.

Unlucky you forgot it was in there,yeh they do say send back with nothing else,surprised they didn't send you prepaid for it all,thats what I got and sent back to me at no charge.

Just go out and buy the games you have on the R4..
Then you are totally legal, as you own the originals.

I wouldn't do anything unless you hear from them...They may not even notice it..

Your child swapped something at school for it,and they got the games themselves online and you really didn't know and thought it was some cheat card.

Sorry, but that's, like, well bad!

I know that strictly it's not illegal itself as you could just be using it for backups, but how many people genuinely do that? (Of course Nintendo are up on it)

If it was me that did that, I would be very worried.

I expect that they just won't return it to you - I doubt they would bother trying to prosecute or anything.

Let us know what happens with this, please - do they have internet in prison? (sorry)
