i've just bought this for my uncle for 98 ish from dixons. Used a code to get a pound off, quidco tracked and instant cashback from egg.

I've updated it today, i think i've put on the new maps launched a few days ago, can i transfer this to my dads 520?

Oh there's a new one coming, so prices may fall even more on these.

i didnt think that it had a lot of memory to install new maps / voices / speed camera data etc.

it doesnt have an SD slot does it?

no. the v3's don;t come with sd card slots.
