£39.99

-7°

FOUND BY: jarica 1 month, 3 weeks ago

Save £10.00 - £39.99 Was £49.99

I have just bought one of these and its great!

Ok quality of it is not 100% (as with most Argos build it yourself items) but I am very pleased with it. It has a huge grill for all your food and stands at an appropriate height for those of us that are not vertically challanged.

# Chrome plated warming rack.

# Weight 17kg.

# Grill area 70 x 36.5cm.

# Overall height 91cm.

# Self assembly by 2 people recommended.

# Packed flat for home assembly.

If you want to know anything about it let me know.

Why so cold???

This is a great price for an Oil Drum BBQ.

If you are voting cold at least post why.

I aint voted either way but I picked up a round one from Asda for £17 which had ample cooking space. Was able to cook 12 burgers at a time. This one could possibly cook twice as much but I wouldnt pay that much for the difference.

With this BBQ you are paying more for it being the Oil Drum style.

The next closest in price seem to be around £60 so it makes this a good deal. Also the others do not have a lid so are really only 1/2 oil drum BBQ's.

Example

Personally I just love this style and would go for charcoal over gas any day!

The amazon one looks a bit better in quality terms. My local Sainsburys currently has one of these on sale, but I can't remember whether this is a better or worse price!

Still, all in, looks good, and worth warming up!

Used it yesterday and it was ace. However it did take a whole bag of briquettes to fill it up!

It got so hot that when I opened it the first time the heat that came out burt my Hair. I was running round the garden asking if I still had eyebrows with everyone wetting themselves laughing!

All in all though it was a great BBQ and there is so much room on it for cooking.
