ok there are currently SEVEN "win" things on the front page. How can something you have a chance of winning be a hot deal or am I missing something? Is there a way for me to filter these out?

30 seconds worth of filling in an online form - when you (obviously) already online - for a chance, however remote, of getting something great for free? How can that Not be a hot deal?

At the very least, if they are competitions promoted in newspapers and magazines, you've saved money on purchasing that to find out about it...

I've added heat to all the comps - and entered them all!

I just see a hot deal as something sold at a good price, BOGOF, 3 for 2 etc

You also have to wonder how many of these companies will send you junk mail even if you opt out.

So I asked you to pick a number, and if you guess the right one I'll give you £10 - thats not a Good Deal? Ok...

I can see where you are coming from, but for me, there's only ever going to be So many good purchases I can afford to take advantage of, no matter how good the deal. Getting Freebies & Competitions listed just adds that extra layer of interest and use to the site for me.
