returning a laptop to tesco

hi i bought a dell laptop from tesco and i think its faulty.it keeps freezing up after a few min.im now reinstalling vista to see if its a software issue.only prob is if i return the laptop would they be able to see what software i used before for example torrent.when i got the laptop its got a section on the hd called restore.

my friend took one back after a couple of months as there was some serious problem with it and he got refunded with no problems

im currently reinstalling vista and its like its stuck no the bit where it says expanding files.does that bit normaly take ages

took it back and got a refund,just went up to poc world and got a better spec samsung laptop so pleased with that!!!

if its after 28 days you have to call the electrical helpline from home - they will just tell you that after you go all the way there
