Goodbye Vista

Before you ask, no, Microsoft haven't released a statement explaining how Vista will be removed from sale.. yet.

I've given it a good two months or so to impress me but recently it has just pi**ed me off no end.

With the release of XP SP3 yours truly is reverting back and making Vista the secondary OS, essentially making it a second class citizen.. or downgrading.

Join the revolution! Vista just isn't a significant improvement over its predecessor.

(laptop just about finished installing from slipstreamed SP3 CD, happy days!)

Feel free to comment or defend it, myself and a thousand others will happily shoot you down :).

I never liked Vista either at first, but I'm ok with it now.. what don't you like about it ?

With you all the way, never known an OS run so slow on my computer. Moving back to XP and installing linux on another partition too. Have been building PC's for quite a few years and have never had as many problems with XP as I have with Vista. Wish I had spent the money on beer instead!

A cold boot is sooooo slow, it's unbelievable.

A few applications I often use don't work well on Vista either, I tried to overlook it for a while but it just seems pointless.

There's a few other technical bits but in summary, XP runs cricles around Vista at the minute.
