Homebase are currently selling reconditioned air conditioners both 12K BTU and 9K BTU. The packaging says minor cosmetic damage on them but my friend got one from Homebase in Hemel and there is barely a scratch on it. He got the 12k BTU unit for £99.99 and I can tell you I am very impressed with it.

I don't know who makes them. It was in a Homebase branded box. These are only available instore.

went to homebase and noting even close to that price... they had a "AIR COOLER" for £69.99 ut cheapest in swindon was 199.99

You have to lookout for the refurbished labels on the boxes. I dont think half the staff even know about this deal. So they may be on the shelf with the full priced ones!! Definately a load left at Homebase in Hemel where my friend works.
