I've got a 40 gig one(E235) that I bought off ebay quite a while back.
Very pleased with it.
Battery life isn't the greatest, BUT, it comes with two batteries (or at least mine did). Obviously if you set the monitor to go off after a very short time, then audio playback is well over 8 hours. I would say that video playback - with earphones in, is about 2 movies worth.
MP4 playback is very hit n miss though. Some things will play, some won't. Most of my stuff is divx and doesn't have a problem. You can also drag n drop a full dvd onto it and it'll play fine.
Ebook function is just .txt files, but I have converted a couple of pdf's to .txt and they play and read fine.
Built in games ? Well it's got a version of the nokia snake thing and one with tanks and one with shuffling boxes around. Having said that, you wouldn't buy this to play games.
Now I don't know about this one, but my 40gig is partioned to 2, 20 gig drives, and you have to activate the drive that you want to use in settings.

From a previous check with this company their postage rate to n.ireland is actually lower than that to mainland UK! Nice one big pockets now do i take a chance on yer dodgy 3 month warranty though ?
