Natural yoghurt-nicest ones, please post suggestions!!!

POSTED BY: midjet666 6 days, 16 hours ago

I'm after a nice creamy natural yoghurt that isn't high in fat. So far I've tried asda smartprice and asda good for you and they're both really bitter.

I went to the pub the other (old house at home) and they had this pudding called "berry heaven" and it was frozen natural yoghurt with mixed berries. It was nice and creamy but had less than 2% fat.

Can anyone suggest any? Also, I'm following the Slimming World diet so if there's any followers too and know the low syns ones!!
Many Thanks,

Is it for eating or something else? lol

Sorry the mention of natural yogurt always brings up mental images of other uses for it.......

I'll have to try and find some, I've just gone online to try and find it and as usual they haven't got it on there.

Are you sure nothing else was added to it, cos low fat yoghurt is usually not that creamy?

I tend to use low fat fromage frais instead (Tesco Light Choice) and add a tiny amount of organic honey, or demerara sugar. It usually works out that you can have more of it compared to low fat yoghurt for the same amount of calories/fat.

I think I'll give that a go, the ice cream at the pub was a bit weird, it was nice but it had a bit of a tang but no where near as bad as Asda one. It's almost like an off milk tang and it's gross.

Weird.

What I like is to get a Marks & Spencers meringue nest, pour some Tesco Light Choice Fromage Frais on that and sprinkle with raspberries. That's a yummy desert that's not to too high in calories/fat. You can use Strawberries, blueberries or other fruits if you prefer but that will probably put the calories up a bit.

Have you tried Skinny Cows? They're quite nice. I'm not so keen on some of the newer flavours, but they are a pretty good alternative to 'real' ice cream.

Asda - tub of quark add it to sachet of LOW jelly in sachet. Mix and put in fridge...
Result a stunning LOW SLIMMING WORLD dessert!!
You can also put fruit inside before you refridgerate.
