Anyone any suggestions as to where to get cheap tickets and accomodation for Alton Towers or Chessington? I'm looking to go on 7th July for 2 or 3 nights. All ideas greatly apprieciated.

If you have a Sainsbury's Nectar card or a Tesco card they do good deals for theme park tickets. Log on to the Nectar or Tesco card web sites for details.

Alton Towers have a hotel on site, you could see if you can get a deal to stay there.

i got given a book of vouchers last week at chessington and i'm sure 1 of the offers was for 50% ff AT hotel stays. It's still in the car so if you can wait til morning i will check it for the promo code. Btw AT is 10 times better than Chessington for Adults!

A family room at the travel lodge at Uttoxeter is £59 per night for the dates you want. It is approx 20 mins drive away from Alton Towers. I was going to sugguest a voucher you can print off for adults to get in for £16 and children £11, on http://www.raring2go.co.uk/uploads/n...20Jan%2008.pdf but see the only 2 weeks it is not valid is for 7-11 Juy and 14-18 July. Also the wollies deal seems not available on the dates you are going. Actually on checking just now 2 days for an adult booking online onthe site works out £34.40 and children £27.20 or if a family of 2 days works out £98 for a 2 day pass. If you are going for 3 days an individual annual pass is £ 66 or family of 4 one is £199 and this gives you 20% off eating.

Looks like i have picked the wrong date to be going, I can only go that week so might end up having to pay more, I'm in Turkey the week before and my other half is only off the following week, kids want to go to Alton Towers. Thanks for your info, i'll look into it. I think the rooms at the travel lodge only sleep up to 2 adults & 2 kids, I have 3 kids so its making it harder to find somewhere to accomodate us all in the one room.
