£139.00

715°

FOUND BY: unhappybunny 5 days, 19 hours ago

Starts: 01/06/2008 Expires: 21/08/2008

The Deal:

Packages are offer 3 night stays for the price of 2. This also comes with a FREE EUROSTAR first class upgrade. Total price (from £139 includes BOTH EUROSTAR first class travel and 3 NIGHTS HOTEL ACCOMMODATION (B&B)

ALSO GET 6% quidco! (which im cross about because I forgot to check before I booked my trip grr).. means prices FROM £130 pp

The first class (aka Leisure Select) Eurostar experience includes: Champagne to welcome you on board, newspapers and magazines available, private premium carriage with wider seats, tables, more leg room, complementary fine wine's and beers, 3 course meal included served to your seat!

The destinations available are: Lille (fr 149), Paris (fr 139), Brussels (139), Bruges (199), Antwerp (169) - (nb- prices are FROM, Per person, and for 3 night B&B accommodation and return eurostar first class travel)

Here is how to book (this is quite tricky so follow the instructions carefully):
Go to the link (or click go to deal)
http://www.driveline.co.uk/

and click EUROSTAR at the top of the screen !!
Select where you wish to travel from and to (one of the destinations listed above), input you're dates (within the offer period) making sure you have selected a total three nights stay. Leave star rating and class as 'ANY', and make sure 'breaks with eurostar' is checked. Then click 'SEARCH'

You will now get a list of hotels.. NOTE ONLY HOTELS LISTED AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS PAGE ARE AVAILABLE ON THIS OFFER (you can select a different hotel but will not receive this offer, but may still get a good deal (without first class upgrade)

Select the hotel you are interested in, on the next page you will get a list of offers showing the price, select the offer " Double 3nts with FREE Eurostar UPGRADE " you will then get a travel summary. Click choose travel times - NOTE: you must select an off peak trains as some busy trains will have a supplement to pay, if you wish to travel on them. This will be shown in this page. Be flexable with train times and TRY NOT to travel out on Friday as these are very busy and it is likely you're chosen train will carry a supplement (which will be shown and detailed).
Select your chosen train and do the same for the return journey!

You will once again get a full summary, and then are able to book! Easy.

I know the booking process sounds a bit complicated but it really is easy. These deals are amazing prices. I have personally travelled leisure select (first class) before and can assure you it is worth it! The service and food/drink was great.. you can easily pay £139 for a non-flexible leisure select return TICKET ONLY, I paid about £150 just for ticket- So with hotel as well has to be hot!

I have looked all over and can not find a deal to match this one.

I have just booked a trip for August, going on a Friday returning a Monday to Brussels for £159 each on this deal ! Very good price for long weekend first class 3 * (B&B) Brussels city break!

Here is an example I just got:

Travel from St Pancras on 16/8 on 1424 train to Lille. Check in hotel Holiday Inn Lille Centre (B&B) 3 nights, return on 19/8 on 1738 train... total £149 per person! This journey was found 1048 10/05 and is available. Just 149, go with you're partner, friend. Very very good price!

Message to "unhappybunny" - when did you make your online booking? If it was within the last 12 weeks (which i am sure it was) you can simply click the link from Quidco to the site to http://www.driveline.co.uk/ or http://buyat.greatgetaways.co.uk/?P36=8CNPEL which ever you used and this will create a tracking to the site. Although no transaction has been "tracked" you can then message Quidco using "missing transactions" and there will be a list of all your linked attempts to that site. Simply follow it through clicking the most recent tracked attempt and fill in details including reference numbers, email address, booking info etc and it will be manually processed.

If you are unsure drop me a message and I will be happy to help further. Hope this helps!!

~ investments ~

From Quidco - "We only accept enquiries regarding transactions made in the last 12 weeks on most merchants. Some have shorter timespans."

Unfortunately only the Mercure Eiffel Suffren hotel is available for the period we're interested in (13/16 June) and yet over £300... Never mind, we'll go in second class!

Thanks a lot regardless, brilliant deal and great post with a lot of effort in, heat and rep' added!

Can't you get this cheaper by booking the travel and hotel yourself? (ie: 2 sharing a very low quality hotel traveling by eurostar for 3 nights for £298 is very do-able! in fact I'm sure if u did it yourself you could afford a 4 star hotel for this price)

In fact I will go and check ;o)

Not criticizing this btw, just trying to get you guys best deal .....

Although you can get the deal much cheaper, the point is the upgraded travel, which normally costs £115 each way so the overall package with it included is a great deal, and there are several dates available for the various locations.

I'm seriously tempted - just for the brownie points with the good lady wife.

As an aside.
If you're a Virgin Group employee, you and youre travelling companions (I think its 4 max) are entitled to free 1st Class upgrade on Eurostar.

The usual place gives you the details.

I had the same problem. I contacted Eurostar and they stated infants (under 4) travel on laps therefore it would not need to be listed. I also phoned one of the hotels in Lille (Alliance) and they said infants are allowed in the room, therefore I suspect it is ok.

We I decided to book it I received an error after we paid stating we need to call the driveline helpline..... so will need to call them in the morning!

Anyone else have this problem?

No. it all booked fine for me, I called them however to confirm how I would get tickets etc, they said that I will get another email shortly before travel (7-14 days prior) and it contains all the details, and tickets are collected from St Pancras (like an e-ticket most airlines offer)
