Try Eurotunnel, use day.overnight and buy a return ticket, will only cost around £49. You only going to use it one way, but still cheaper than a single ticket!

i used to use speedferries
they don't go to calais but boulogne, which is like a 20min drive from calais anyways, and closer to paris if thats where ur heading

i now use eurotunnel but book in adv. for the simple fact that my other half gets seasick very easily

The problem with using only one part of a return ticket is that Eurotunnel and the Ferry companies have your credit card and they have been known to charge for the cost of a single ticket when people have not used both portions of a return ticket.
