riddles ?

Hard to remember what riddles I knew as a kid as opposed to things I've heard since, but I think this is one I used to like:

Q: What gets wet as it dries and dries when it's wet?
A: A Towel.

Q: What cheese is made backwards?
A: Edam

Q: What english word means burning wood when you take away the first letter of the word?
A: member = m ember

Q: Feed me and I Live, Give me Drink and I Die, What Am I?
A: Fire

Q: I went to the garden and got it, when I came into the house I cried because of it.
A: An Onion

Q: You are lost and alone in the woods. You stumble across an old cabin, and decide to stay there for the night. Why do dragons sleep all day? - They like to hunt Knights.


What has a horn but does not honk? - A rhinoceros.
