if these are the same as the ones i got from there last year, then they are really poor quality. they are just under two inches deep, and last nowhere near as long as other bbq's i've bought in the past.

save your money and get something a bit better quality.

(if they are different, then i take it all back, just be wary)

Used one from sainsburys at the weekend. It was really good, lots of decent charcoal (not with wood still showing like some of the cheap ones), great burn time and a sturdy stand!

£1 disp bbq is always available somewhere. I'd advise anyone using this to always have a spare in case one burns out before you finish cooking all your food.

Bit hit and miss these cheapo disposables. Got a 2 pack from Aldi last week for £2.50, and while the first one we used was great, the second burned itself out in no time. Main problem I've found is there's just not enough charcoal in them - you'll get a hot spot in the middle, so you're fine if you want to cook 3 or 4 burgers, but you can't fill the grill right to the edges as there just isn't enough coal to go round.

Went to the beach with a disposable bbq last year. Good points are that theyre cheap and easy to light. Bad point, they are no good to put on the sand. That is unless you like a bit of bite to your bbq chicken

I can confirm that these actual one's are superb.

Bought 5 last week and have used two of them already, light quickly and last a long time too, very impressed.

Seen these in my local poundland too. Duno how decent they are though, haven't tried them. The last ones were used were from Morrisons and I think they were OK.. over a quid though.

I find these don't last very long but are still handy to have few in the shed....We use them to start our coals off on our 'big' BBQ ,they're quite good for that!!

please if you are going to use these - make a plan to dispose of them.
so many of them are just left in forests / beaches by people and are so bad for the environment.

Question.

Are ALL BBQ items going to be made HOT??

Doesn't seem like a HOT deal to me since they are nearly always available at this price, somewhere.

hi

all though these are very cheap, avoid them! they are absolutely rubbish. bought 2 at the weekend and the heat that they generated wos absolutely ridiculous! i tried for 2 hours to cook some burgers without much success. Tried a disposable from tesco for £2.60 yesterday and they were 10 times better. Within an hour I lit the bbq let it warm up and cooked 10 burgers and 8 kebabs to perfection and it was still going strong!

DO NOT BUY FROM LIDL!
