Train to London - Cheap, Wanted

I want to go down to London, live in Halifax over a weekend or a few days this Month. Anyone know of any cheap deals. I know one deal to travel to Manchester and then get a £9 return from Virgin but this expires on the 22nd of May, wondered if anyone knew anything better
